Makes my heart soar

I work as a tutor with Rim Country Literacy. Part of each Tuesday and Thursday is spent working with children at Payson Community Kids (PCK). Last week I arrived to hear that one of my more problematic students had caused a “stir” at the PCK store. Fearing the worst, I went to the director to hear the story. Apparently, the child had been standing in line with her PCK bucks to purchase something at the in-house store. The younger girl in front of her did not have enough money to pay for an item she wanted. My student simply gave, not loaned, her the money needed to complete the transaction. Ah, kindness — it makes my heart soar!
