New beginnings

New Beginnings Pregnancy and Parenting Center’s Grand Opening July 13 was a wonderful success. We thank our 90-plus visitors who came for our joyful ceremony, took a tour and broke bread with us.

The board of directors wish to extend a special thank you to Banner Payson Medical Center and Lance Porter for providing us a building we could afford. We appreciate all the businesses and trades who donated so much to allow for the beautiful transformation of our building at 111 E. Frontier St. Thank you Davies Handyman Service, Colonial Cabinets, Anixter, ReStore, Keith Family Flooring, Home Center Supply (True Value) and Home Depot. Also, a big thanks to Dean Younker, Greg Friestad and Jim Ferris who worked many long hours.

Lastly, we send a huge thank you to our loving, giving, hard working volunteers who helped so much to make our new home warm and welcoming.

New Beginnings is a non-profit, 50l©(3) which is supported entirely by donations and the sales from our thrift store, The Nook at 408 W. Main St. We have no paid staff and accept no public monies. We are not just a crisis pregnancy center. We provide many services to all age groups including pregnancy testing and educational programs that cover pregnancy, parenting, sexual integrity, life skills, and Bible lessons. All of our services are free.

If you want more information, please go to our website, look us up on Facebook or call 928-474-7466.
