The town is receiving $3.7 million in the latest Stimulus Package. The town staff will spend it on wasteful stuff including hiring more bureaucrats where the town is already overstaffed otherwise. I say get us a permanent project that will be a benefit for our families with children.

I am not omniscient, but you will note that my prediction in the second sentence of my comment on April 7 is already happening if you will look at the long list of new job positions they are hiring. The problem with this is that when you hire personnel with one time funds, you create a HUGE future financial problem when the one time funds are not on-going. Completing infrastructure projects does exactly the opposite. The problem is solved with the one-time funds reducing future obligations.
